Giving Back to the Community

We are committed to making a positive difference to the communities we serve. Our community engagement programmes are designed to educate and inform local residents about recycling and waste management while supporting local organisations aligning with our values.

The Felix Project

The Felix Project is a food redistribution charity. Its mission is to reduce food waste and combat hunger. The charity works with a wide range of food suppliers, including supermarkets, wholesalers, and farmers, to divert surplus food from waste and distribute it to people in need.

LondonEnergy has partnered with the Felix Project since 2018. Our colleagues regularly volunteer with the charity to give back to the local community.

This partnership reflects our shared goal to reduce waste and help those in need. Volunteering and supporting the charity’s efforts make a real difference in people’s lives.

Enfield Town Ladies FC

We are the proud sponsor of the Enfield Town Ladies FC. Since 2022, we have been the sole team shirts sponsors for the under 10s, 15s, and 16s age groups and the first and third team shirts.

Enfield Town Ladies FC has been around since 1985, and is one of the longest-standing girl’s and women’s football clubs in southeast England, with 11 teams and over 160 playing members. Their philosophy is “Football for All”, so all players can enjoy competitive football without the pressure of winning games.

Harris Academy Mentoring Programme

Our partnership with Wise Up Networks offers Harris Academy Tottenham Year 12 students an incredible mentorship programme. It aims to give aspiring young students a chance to gain valuable exposure to the workplace and learn from experienced mentors. This initiative will help develop the next generation of talented individuals, and we are excited to see its impact on their futures.

University of Hertfordshire

June 2023, LondonEnergy teamed up with ‘The University of Hertfordshire Collective’ to host an exciting new sustainable art exhibition at The Truman Brewery, London.

The exhibition, Modern Materials, focused on sustainable techniques to showcase ways to reduce waste, recycle and redefine used objects into contemporary art.

The Collective featured 20 artists from the University who had just completed their final degree show. The cohort researched and created art using recycled materials such as plastic, textiles, reclaimed wood, and other waste products to create new pieces of artwork.

To reuse, recycle and create energy from waste for our communities.
